THE EAST OF ENGLAND
MULTI-FAITH CENTRE |
The East of England Faiths Agency (EEFA) has entered into an arrangement with the East of England Co-operative Society whereby it leases from the Society for a period of 3 years, 5 rooms on the first floor of the building, the ground floor of which is presently used by the Society for its Funeral Service. The first floor is only accessible via a stair case from the ground floor. |
EEFA intends to use one of these rooms as its office. The other rooms will be used as: |
· A training room |
· A seminar room |
· A library and resources room |
· A ‘hot desking’/storage office for faith and inter-faith groups with no other accommodation. |
Faith and inter-faith groups with no other accommodation are invited to become affiliates of the Centre and will be able to use the seminar room, the resources room and the hot desking office. |
Access to the Centre will always be by prior arrangement, by a door at the rear of the building and via a ‘common area’ of the building. Lead personnel of user groups will be required to ensure that members of their group do not enter any other parts of the building which might seem accessible from the ‘Common areas’ pathway. |
The external door is kept locked. Opening up and closing down will be facilitated by the EEMFCA WARDEN. |
User groups will be asked to pay an annual fee of £50 which will be used to cover general cleaning and maintenance costs. In addition they will be required to pay a user fee of £10 per session which will be used to remunerate the Warden. |
